Let me introduce the birthday girl.
Bethany Grace Miller. My sister.
Blonde hair and grey-blue eyes, my sister is gorgeous.
I would say trust me, but you don’t need to.
She’s a very good actress. She’s also a very good dancer. And singer. She was one of the original actors in The King’s Players; as were my older brothers. And now she’s majoring in musical theatre at college (correct me if I’m wrong here, Bethie!).
Speaking of dancing. . .
. . .I maybe should explain ‘dancing’ a bit more clearly. This photo is from the very first time we went to the Pla Mor Ballroom. I didn’t end up going, but I remember the enchanted remarks they made upon it when they got home. She’s a good ballroom dancer, but before ever going ballroom dancing, she was a ballerina. And still is. She also did tap quite well, and jazz for a while too.
She’s been in Wyoming all summer working, first as an electrician’s apprentice, and now as a Farmer’s Market vendor, selling artisan bread. Our Uncle and Aunt moved to Wyoming last year, offered Saia a job cutting trees this summer, and, for some reason, Bethany found work there too. She looks miserable being away from us, doesn’t she?
Happy birthday, Bethie. I hope it’s the best one yet. I love you.
