Day 280: I love putting fruit and veg in my water during the summer. (Also, on the right you can see my ever-growing stack of get well cards. I cherish every sweet sentence.)
Day 281: Mum baked bread for my best friend’s graduation party. I drove there early to help set up, and brought the warm buns with me–it was sweet torture smelling these the whole way, and knowing I couldn’t eat them. But they were, of course, a big hit. (Mum makes the best bread!)
Day 282: Extra pineapple under my pineapple-coconut ice cream. This is happiness.
Day 283: Hot tea and snapping lines with melodrama friends before practice!
Day 284: I got to meet a friend for coffee this week, and our chat over coffee turned into coffee and walk. . . for five hours. Suffice it to say, we had a lot to talk about.
Day 285: Grandma and Grandpa have a tradition of buying us (the grandkids) each a bike when we turn ten. Macky turned ten this week (and I still can’t believe it), and we got to go in with them (to the same place I got my ‘ten-year-old’ bike, seven years ago!) to help, or watch, him pick it out. Of course we had to get a photo with all of them!
Day 286: I met up with the fam in-between work and melodrama practice to eat some delicious food and watch my one-and-only little brother get smeared in the face with cream. It was fun.
